MojNews_ The UN Security Council on Sunday morning condemned several terrorist attacks and bombings in Afghanistan.

The Security Council strongly condemns the recent terrorist attacks in Afghanistan and calls on the perpetrators, organizers and supporters to be brought to justice.

According to the RIA Novosti website, the statement said:

Members of the Security Council condemned in the strongest possible terms the ongoing terrorist acts against civilians in Afghanistan, including the April 22 attack on the Mawlawi Sekander Mosque in Kunduz that killed more than 25 people and injured dozens more.

The Security Council also condemned the April 28 attack on two minibuses in Mazar-e-Sharif, which was claimed by the Islamic State terrorist group.

The statement condemned the April 29 attack on the Khalifa Sahib Mosque in Kabul, which reportedly killed at least 30 people and injured scores more, and called for the perpetrators to be brought to justice.

According to RIA Novosti, the Security Council stated:

We call on all countries to actively cooperate with all relevant authorities in this regard, in accordance with their obligations under international law and relevant Security Council resolutions.
