Iran's FM accuses the US of hypocrisy over imminent attack of Zionists on Rafah

MojNews-Iranian Foreign Minister asked the US no to tell lies over its support of Zionists in imminent attack on Rafah.

The Iranian foreign minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said on Sunday that the United States needs to stop lying about their support for the Zionist Israeli regime's push for attacking the over-crowded Rafah city in Gaza.

Speaking in a cabinet meeting on Sunday chaired by President Ebrahim Raeisi, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian stated that the Zionist regime's war crimes against the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank and the critical conditions in the north of Gaza and Rafah continue. Meanwhile, Hamas, on behalf of the people of Gaza has offered a comprehensive plan to stop the genocide, lift the siege, exchange prisoners and rebuild Gaza. He also that resistance leaders have warned that any military action against the residents of Rafah will have grave consequences.

Pointing out that the Zionist regime has not achieved any of its goals in its aggression, despite that it continues to beat the drum of war and its threats, he warned the Americans to stop being hypocritical and talking about a ceasefire while encouraging the Zionist regime to attack Rafah.

Referring to the clear stance of the Islamic Republic of Iran since the beginning of the genocide in Gaza, the foreign minister noted that Iran strongly supports any Palestinian solution that ensures the security of the region and the rights of the Palestinian people.
