UN Secretary-General's conversation with Bennett and Abbas about tensions in occupied Jerusalem
In a separate telephone conversation with the Prime Minister of the Zionist regime and the head of the Palestinian Authority, the UN Secretary General examined the situation in Jerusalem.

MojNews_ UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres spoke by telephone with Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett and Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas.
According to the Al-Quds Al-Arabi newspaper, the United Nations said in a statement that Guterres called Bint and Abbas to discuss efforts to reduce tensions, end provocations and unilateral measures, and restore calm.
Guterres also stressed the need to maintain and respect the status quo in the holy sites.
Occupied Quds and Al-Aqsa Mosque witnessed repeated attacks by Zionist militias and settlers on the holy mosque during the holy month of Ramadan, and more than a week ago, Zionist militias attacked Al-Aqsa Mosque and wounded more than ۲۵۰ Palestinians.
