Biden Security Adviser:

We will impose more sanctions on Russia

Referring to Washington's decision to increase sanctions against Russia, the US presidential adviser said they would continue to provide military support to Ukraine.

We will impose more sanctions on Russia

MojNews_ White House National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan threatened Russia with more sanctions Monday evening.

Sullivan told a news conference at the White House:

We will announce more sanctions against Russia this week. We are gathering evidence that Russia has committed war crimes and genocide in Ukraine.

According to American media, he continued his anti-Russian claims:

Russia was defeated in an attack on Kiev, and its forces withdrew to focus on eastern and southern Ukraine. We are prosecuting war crimes in Ukraine to see if they turn into genocide.

The president's security adviser added:

We will continue to put economic pressure on Russia. The Russians tried to take over all of Ukraine, but failed.

Sullivan told Kiev about Washington's daily military aid:

Our support for Ukraine includes offensive weapons, intelligence and advanced defense systems. The Ukrainian forces are defending bravely, and we will provide more military and security assistance.

He also added:

Our military assistance to Ukraine is ongoing and is affecting the conflict in its favor. We are trying to impose a new package of sanctions in coordination with our European allies against Russia.
