Eight killed and wounded in Turkish airstrikes in northern Iraq

MojNews_ Iraqi media reported on Tuesday evening that at least eight people were killed and wounded in a Turkish fighter jet attack on Sinjar in northern Iraq.

On Tuesday evening, Iraqi news sources reported that Turkish airstrikes on the Makhmour mountain range in the northern Iraqi province of Nineveh were being carried out under the pretext of targeting terrorist elements of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK).

The Saberin News Telegram Channel reported that one of the camps in the Makhmour Mountains was targeted and several people were killed during the attacks, but the exact number of casualties has not been released.

Yazidi IDPs are present in Makhmour camp. Turkey says it is targeting Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) positions in these areas. Some sources also reported that the Turkish Air Force bombed the camp 20 times.
