MojNews_ Speaking in a gathering marked by the 40th anniversary of Hezbollah establishment on Tuesday, Hassan Nasrallah said that the Resistance defeated an army in 2000 which was presumed to be unbeatable.

Hezbollah forces are followers of Imam Khomeini and his code of conduct, as they recognize him has the greatest source of inspiration for the Lebanese party, Nasrallah said.

He noted that the latest achievement of the Resistance in the 2006 war was the reclamation of Lebanon’s oil and gas rights.

Syria is the foundation of the axis of Resistance and objection to submitting to the conditions specified by Israel, Hezbollah leader underlined.

He noted that Hezbollah sought a government for Lebanon which is not dependent to the United States and that oil and gas extraction was the only way out for the country.

Nasrallah praised Iran and IRGC for their support for Lebanon in the last 30-40 years.
