Moj News, citing Sputnik, Igor Vishnotsky, Deputy Director of the Department of Non-Proliferation and Arms Control of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, said: Russia is in favor of quickly revitalizing the implementation of the Iran nuclear deal.

He said at the review conference of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) at the United Nations: We are convinced of the necessity of restoring the full implementation of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) to resolve Iran's nuclear program as soon as possible.

The deputy of the Non-Proliferation and Arms Control Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry pointed out that there is no alternative to this agreement.
