Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei has praised an emergency medical worker for rescuing a mother and her baby who were trapped in snow in northern Iran.
Masoumeh Mehravar, a midwife in the emergency call center, 115, helped a mother who was trapped in snow in Jajan Village in Mazandaran Province to give birth safely.
Thorough a phone call, Mohammad Golpaygani, the head of the office of Ayatollah Khamenei conveyed the Leader’s message to the hard-working emergency medical worker.
On February 28, Mehravar provided essential medical instructions to the mother’s husband, enabling him to assist his wife and save both her life and the baby’s.
The heavy snowfall had hindered the ambulance from reaching them.
