Iranian, Japanese musicians hold a joint concert in Japan

MojNews-Iranian musician, Kayvan Saket and a Japanese musician hold a concert in Japan.

Iranian composer and musician, Kayvan Saket and Japanese violinist Tsumuzi hold a joint concert in Tokyo.

Iranian musician and composer Kayvan Saket announced that he will perform with the Japanese musician at Libra Hall in Tokyo on March 7 and 8.

He added that there will be a special concert for Japanese officials and a performance at a Japanese Music Institute in the form of a research program.

Saket explained that he would perform 4 pieces of his music along with 4 Japanese pieces in their public concert.

He said that he is going to introduce Iranian music in these concerts as Japanese people have a special interest in Iranian music.

Saket is the fastest tar and setar (traditional Iranian instruments) player in Iran. He has always believed in introducing Iranian traditional music to the world. One of his ways of doing so was to promote through his shows what Iranian instruments were capable of playing.
