Moj News, citing Sputnik, Pakistan's anti-narcotics force conducted operations in different areas of the country in the last 24 hours, as a result of which more than 2,000 kilograms of drugs were discovered and three suspects were arrested. This matter was announced today by the official representative of this service.

According to the Anti-Narcotics Department of Pakistan, based on operational information obtained, the security forces conducted an operation in the former Baluchistan region located in the southwest of the country, as a result of which 1,312 kilograms of hashish were discovered and seized.

In another operation, anti-narcotics agents seized a coal truck at the Kharlachi border crossing between Pakistan and Afghanistan in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in the northwest of the country.

He stated that the officers discovered 32 kg of opium and more than 400 kg of hashish smuggled from Afghanistan during the inspection of this truck, and said that the driver of the truck was arrested on the spot.

At the same time, as part of another operation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, it seized 144 kilograms of hashish in an abandoned area in North Waziristan district, according to a spokesman for Pakistan's Anti-Narcotics Service.

He said that the drugs are planted in the bushes for further smuggling across the country.

The spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs also added: In addition, more than 130 kilograms of narcotics were seized near Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan, and 142 kilograms in the Sheikhpura area in the east of the country in two intelligence operations, and two suspects were also arrested.
