The Tel Aviv-Washington alliance against Iran is essential

MojNews_US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken described the conversation with Israeli Foreign Minister Yair Lapid as "extraordinary" and said that US relations with Israel were important in the face of challenges such as Iran.

In a message posted on his Twitter page, he wrote about his conversation with Lapid:

Today (Tuesday) I had a great conversation with Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister of Israel Yair Lapid. Strong US-Israeli bilateral relations are important in the face of common challenges, including the dangers of further Russian aggression against Ukraine and the Iranian threat.

Zionist officials, along with their Western partners, have resumed rhetoric and espionage against the talks, with the start of a new round of talks on lifting sanctions in Vienna between Tehran and the parties to the JCPOA, which has been withdrawn from the agreement with the US as a member. And they try to portray Iran as a threat.

Recently, Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett has twice said on various occasions that Tel Aviv is focused on striking Iran and will not adhere to any international community agreement with Iran.

Zionist and American officials have repeatedly stated that they have differences over Iran, but in practice pursue both anti-Iranian policies and pressure on the Islamic Republic.

In a recent interview with the Jerusalem Post, Bennett expressed opposition to any agreement with Iran:

Israel's strategy does not depend on whether there is an agreement or not. We protect ourselves. Even if an agreement is reached, we will not commit to it. We retain our freedom to take action.
