MojNews- Kazakhstan 's election commission announced:  Kassym-Jomart Tokayev  won the country's presidential election.

In Sunday's presidential election, Tokayev received 70.76% votes, according to Kazakhstan's Central Elections Commission.Voter turnout was 77.4% of the 12 million registered voters, it said. 

Tokayev, 66, had taken the reins as acting president a day after the resignation of Nazarbayev earlier in March and announced that the oil-rich Central Asian country will go to early presidential election on June 9.
