The Syrian army forwarded a long convoy of armored vehicles and tanks as well as fresh soldiers to the last bastion of the terrorists in the Western part of Damascus province.

MojNews-The army sent 21 tanks, 16 BMP armored vehicles and tens of military vehicles along with a large number of forces to areas surrounding the militant-held town of Beit Jinn in Western Damascus, news websites close to the terrorists reported.

Meantime, the Syrian army and popular forces continued their military advances in other parts of Syria, including Damascus and Hama, over past 24 hours.

Tens of terrorists were killed and dozens more were injured during the Syrian army's operations in Syria's key provinces.

Damascus

Militant-affiliated news websites reported on Saturday that the Syrian Army has forwarded a long convoy of armored vehicles and tanks along with a large number of fresh soldiers to the last bastion of the terrorists in the Western part of Damascus province.

The websites reported that the army has sent 21 tanks, 16 BMP armored vehicles and tens of military vehicles along with a large number of forces to areas surrounding the militant-held town of Beit Jinn in Western Damascus.

Beit Jinn has been considered as the last stronghold of the terrorists in the Western part of Damascus province after their comrades in Darayya endorsed a peace agreement with the army last year.

Local sources in the Southern outskirts of Damascus city reported earlier on Saturday that a large number of terrorists are about to leave their positions in al-Qadam district for Northern or Northwestern Syria following conclusion of an agreement with the Syrian Army.

Local council of al-Qadam district announced in a statement that the terrorists deployed in the al-Madeniyeh, Bour Saeed and al-Majmah al-Sana'ei regions have reached an agreement with the army.

The council further said that the gunmen along with their family members are to leave al-Qadam for militant-held regions in Idlib or Jarabulus in Northern Syria on Tuesday and Wednesday based on the newly-inked agreement. 

Hama

The Syrian Army troops engaged in fierce clashes with Al-Nusra Front (Tahrir al-Sham Hay'at or the Levant Liberation Board) in Southeastern Hama on Saturday and managed to fend off their offensive.

The army men engaged in fierce clashes with a group of Al-Nusra terrorists that tried to prevail over the pro-government forces' positions in Tal (hill) Malheh via their positions in al-Mazire'eh.

The army soldiers repelled the Al-Nusra offensive, killing and wounding a large number of militants.

Relevant reports said earlier on Saturday that the army troops continued to hit the positions and movements of ISIL and Al-Nusra Front in Eastern and Northern Hama, killing and wounding a large number of terrorists and destroying their military hardware.

The army's artillery and missile units shelled a group of ISIL that intended to leave Eastern Hama for Al-Nusra-held regions in Idlib via Wadi al-Azib road, killing all the 20 members of the group.

In the meantime, the artillery units opened heavy fire at fleeing members of Al-Nusra in the village of Skeik in Northern Hama, destroying a tank and killing or wounding a number of the militants.

Raqqa-Deir Ezzur Border

The Syrian Army troops continued their advances against ISIL terrorists in the Western and Northwestern parts of Deir Ezzur province on Saturday, seizing control over several regions between the provinces of Deir Ezzur and Raqqa.

The army units pushed ISIL back from the town of Ma'adan in Southeastern Raqqa, and Masaha Ma'adan, Wadi Abu Jabli, al-Suwieda and Bu Issa regions at Raqqa's provincial border with Deir Ezzur.

Field sources confirmed that the army soldiers that were advancing in Western Deir Ezzur have now joined their comrades deployed in Raqqa province. 

Reports said earlier on Saturday that the army men stormed ISIL's defense lines in Western Deir Ezzur and captured the villages and towns of Shiheh, al-Hama Shami, Wad Abu Shahri, Mount al-Qasbi and Ma'adan Atiq.

A field sources reported that the army has killed tens of ISIL terrorists and is now strengthening its positions along the Eastern border of Raqqa province. 

Homs

The Syrian Army troops drove the ISIL out of three more regions in Eastern Homs within the framework of their anti-terrorism operation in the Central part of the war-hit country on Saturday.

The army men continued to advance against ISIL in Eastern Homs and captured Mosheirefeh al-Shamali, Mosei'ad and Joureh al-Nazal East of Jubb al-Jarah regions, killing and wounding a number of terrorists.

Deir Ezzur

The Syrian Army troops continued to hit ISIL's defense lines in the Eastern countryside of Deir Ezzur city and pushed terrorists back from a key town, military sources confirmed on Saturday.

The army men engaged in a tough battle with ISIL and captured the town of Khusham Southeast of the village of Mazloum.

Khusham is the nearest region to the Koniko oilfield which is the main objective of the army's operation in the region.
